About Bert de Bont Bert de Bont, CPCU, Executive Vice President of INTERNEX , coordinates the international services. Born and raised in the Netherlands, Bert received a Bachelor of Law degree from the University of Leiden. He is proficient in French, German, Dutch, Spanish, and English. Since coming to the United States in 1962 following five years of ocean marine experience on the Insurance Exchange in Amsterdam, Bert held both domestic and international underwriting and sales positions with CIGNA, Great American, Factory Mutual, and major US brokers. From 1975 to 1976, he was Director of German Operations of UNAT in Brussels, part of the AIG European network. Bert's extensive international experience is now available to you.
